Idre Fjäll, Dalarna: Speed skiing on a truly “shocking” slope

As every year, the ski resort Idre Fjäll in Dalarna will host a FIS World Cup in speed skiing. The competition will take place on a truly “shocking” slope this weekend – the steep slope is named “Chocken”, which is Swedish and means “The Shock”. The course record is 179 km/h.
