In recent years the Swedish crispbread producer Leksands Knäckebröd has promoted crispbread pizza, a mixture of Swedish crispbread (knäckebröd) and Italian pizza.
Leksands Knäckebröd has made many mouthwatering recipes available on www.leksands.se. Now they also introduce a readymade, frozen crispbread pizza that is available from Swedish grocery stores.

Basic recipe for a homemade crispbread pizza
Use any shape of (rye) crispbread as a base, with tomato sauce or pizza tomato base, tomatoes, garlic or onions, dried herbs, grated cheese and toppings of your choice. Bake at 200° C for about 10 – 15 minutes depending on amount of toppings and cheese.
In Sweden we like to use the big round crispbread from Leksands (“normalgräddad”) as a base. You might get it at your IKEA store near you.
