These pieces of art were shown in Gothenburg this weekend. They are from the Målerås Glassworks in Småland. Head designer is Mats Jonasson who likes to combine crystal with iron.
Målerås Glassworks – from the Kingdom of Crystal
Founded in 1890, Målerås is today Sweden’s largest privately-owned glassworks. The company has about 50 employees.
Unlike some other glassworks in the Kingdom of Crystal, the Målerås Glassworks are commercially successful. Their masterpieces are exported to 35 countries.
