Holiday Homes in Sweden
Welcome to my personal selection of Swedish holiday homes. I am currently overhauling this section completely to ensure you find only the most reliable and beautiful accommodations for your stay. Based on nearly thirty years of experience in Sweden, I am starting with the most popular regions in the south – more areas will be added shortly.
Here you can find my current recommendations for southern Sweden, Småland, and the Stockholm archipelago.

Popular regions
Most summer houses are located in the Stockholm archipelago, in Skåne, on the islands of Öland and Gotland, in Småland and on the west coast (Halland, Bohuslän, Västergötland).
How much is a holiday home?
If you rent a holiday home for self-catering in Sweden, you can spend a relatively inexpensive holiday. The costs range depending on amenities, location and season from 500 to 1,200 Euros per week.
Pro tip: If you are flexible with your timing, you can sometimes find simpler houses off-season starting from 200 Euros per week.
