When searching for a stay in the archipelago, pay attention to the transport links, as some islands are only accessible by Waxholmsbolaget ferries. If you plan to visit the city frequently, look for properties in the suburbs near the “Pendeltåg” (commuter train) or bus lines. Just like in other popular regions, holiday homes in Stockholm County are in high demand during midsummer and the peak months of July and August, so I recommend booking well in advance.
