When searching for your perfect stay, consider the distance to the nearest lake and grocery store, as some of the most beautiful spots in Småland can be quite remote. If you are travelling in the peak months of July and August, I recommend booking well in advance, as Småland remains the most sought-after region for cottage holidays in the country.
