- Slottsskogens Vandrarhem/Hostel – See the photo above. Excellently located near the park Slottsskogen. Very friendly atmosphere. Special offers for cyclists.
- Linnéplatsens Hotell & Vandrarhem – Similarly located as the Slottsskogens Hostel (see above).
- Linné Hostel – Also similarly located as the Slottsskogens Hostel (see above).
- Kvibergs Vandrarhem/Hostel – A family run hostel 10 minutes from the central station. Free parking and indoor parking for bikes. Rooms in different sizes with or without private bathroom. A large guest kitchen, a garden with a barbecue area, and social areas with games.
- Spoton Hostel & Sportsbar – Just 150 m from the southern entrance of the amusement park Liseberg.
- Backpackers Gothenburg – In the district of Linnéstaden. Brightly furnished.
- STF Hostel Stigbergsliden – Near the Stena Line ferries (to Germany and Denmark). Tram stop in front of the hostel.
