Yesterday we visited the Scandinavian Caravan Show in Jönköping. The parking areas and grass fields behind the exhibition halls were packed with caravans and motorhomes. We had never seen so many motorhomes before.
The weather was warm, and people were sitting outside and enjoying the sun and the view over the magnificent Lake Vättern. The Scandinavian Caravan Show in Jönköping is obviously a great festival for people who love mobile living.
In the exhibition halls most of the major European producers of motorhomes and caravans could be found. Special deals were available if you liked to order on the spot. Most people, however, just looked around and did some “test-sitting”.
We were amazed at the wealth of possibilites – there were small vans available (just 5,49 m) but also one really large motorhome that could transport a small Smart car in an inbuilt garage under the living area.
