The Swedish High Coast: Summit restaurant on Skule mountain open until October

A popular tourist destination in the northeastern part of Sweden is the High Coast region between Sundsvall and Umeå (in the province of Ångermanland). The region is a World Heritage site.

At the centre of the High Coast region you will find the Skuleskogen National Park with the nearby Skule mountain (Skuleberget). On the mountain a new outdoor village is being built. It is named Friluftsbyn.

The summit restaurant “Toppstugan” on the Skule mountain (map) has now extended opening hours during the summer and will stay open until October. The summit restaurant is part of the Friluftsbyn outdoor village, which belongs to the municipality of Kramfors.
